The Regional audit process has introduced many members of the wider MDT to the process of the audit cycle. It has made it very accessible and delivers fantastic, real world results, recommendations and clinical guidance
This is really useful for my clinical practice as a doctor, and to the practice of all members of the wider MDT. The opportunity to see the process from the initial idea, to the clinical question, to the literature search, to the questionnaires, to the results analysis and ultimately the presentation and standards and guideline is a unique opportunity

The whole process affords us the chance to meet people and work with them across the Network  and is a great way to meet fellow health care professionals and forge links across the hospital, community and hospice settings in specialist palliative care.
