|Turner-Warwick lectures 2023|
|The Royal College of Physicians have just opened the 2023 Turner-Warwick lectures for entries from trainees. |
These lectures have been going since 2018 and celebrate the work of many to a wide audience. Winning trainees will be able to reach beyond their specialty and present their lecture to a wide range of specialists and future collaborators. Winners will also be presented with a plaque and feature in the RCP annual Turner-Warwick lecturer scheme yearbook. As well as those opportunities, previous winners have commented on how the scheme has provided them with a sense of pride and helped build confidence.
For consultants and SAS doctors working with trainees, it is important to note that most trainees apply to the Turner-Warwick lecturer scheme because a senior colleague recommended it to them so if you know a trainee who has been involved with some relevant work please do encourage them to get involved.
The work associated with Pallaborative is perfect for this opportunity and in fact Dr Kat Moss was a regional winner with her work on the Anticoagulant project
. The deadline for submitting applications is 4 October 2022 so there is plenty of time to get the submission in. Find out more and apply now.
