Searching the Literature- book your place now

Are you trying to get better at finding what you need in the Clinical Literature?

In 2022 Pallaborative North West is once again running the popular Essential Skills Course, suitable for all Health Care Professionals working in Palliative Care. This second in the series focuses on Searching the Literature

In this session you will :-

– develop your knowledge of evidence based healthcare and how to use this effectively in palliative care.

– gain confidence in applying this knowledge when searching the literature.

– learn how to set up a comprehensive literature search.

This will be facilitated by Dr Sarah Fradsham, Consultant in Palliative Medicine at the Marie Curie Hospice in Liverpool and Angela Hall who is the chief librarian at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Both are fabulous speakers and real experts in this field so it is a great opportunity to learn and ask as many questions as you want. It is a face to face event and you will need to take a lap top with you as it is very much a practical workshop.

The date is 29th June 2022 . The session runs between 1 and 4pm and will be held at the Marie Curie Hospice in Liverpool.

If you are a member of one of the GDGs for 2023/2024 we highly recommend this training session but it is equally appropriate for anyone working in palliative care who wants to get better at finding the information that really matters.

This event is free to Health Care Professionals working in the Northwest of England. There is a nominal £20.00 charge for those professionals in other localities. There will be a late cancellation charge so please dont reserve a space unless you are definitely going to attend.. Places are limited so if the course is fully booked then please contact Karen Ross on to be put on a reserve list.
