Its time for the annual RCP trainees poster competition. can be based on education, quality improvement, audit, research and many other areas of work. Here in Pallaborative we know that there is great work being done by trainees across the North West so want to encourage you to get involved and submit an abstract. All posters are considered by the RCP journal editorial teams for inclusion in a peer-reviewed journal: a fantastic way to boost portfolios.
One of last year’s highly commended entries from Wales, ‘Face time’ for the first time – video communication between relatives and junior doctors in the COVID-19 pandemic was published in Clinical Medicine. Others have been used as case studies in major RCP reports, including Recover, rebuild, renew (pages 12–13). Find out more about the competition here.
All lead authors must be current and subscribing members of the RCP.
This competition is open to medicine trainees at all levels – medical student, foundation year, IMT, CMT, ACCS-AM or ST3-7 (or equivalent) and MTI doctors. Trainees at ST level should be working in an RCP recognised specialty. To be eligible, trainees should not be expecting to complete their training (i.e., obtain their CCT) before 1 November 2022.
Physician associates and physician associate students are also invited to participate. Applications from public health trainees will be accepted if they are subscribing members of the RCP.
Deadline for submission is 12th June 2022
