Diagnostic uncertainty is something we deal with every day. This review looks at our understanding of the concept, how we manage it and how best we should communicate it to both patients and families.

In palliative care we often need to manage acute exacerbations of airway disease. This offering reflects on current best practice guidance much of which is still very relevant to our practice.

And finally a different way of looking at how we could improve access to palliative care for disadvantaged communities. Food for thought!
