Our Guideline Development Group for Interventional Pain are working hard producing new draft guidelines covering access to interventional pain procedures. This will be presented at our July Pallaborative North West meeting. They very much hope that this project will make it easier for all patients to access the procedures that they need.

In the not too distant future the GDG will be asking all of us to help to shape this work .

They won’t be carrying out a case note review for this topic so we will not need to submit the usual 10 clinical cases. However they do want to hear from as many clinicians in the region as possible via their survey of healthcare professionals. Look out for an invitation to complete the survey, which will come from your local service leads, in March and help to make a difference.
