The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Turner-Warwick lecturer scheme for trainee physicians is now in its third year. Celebrating the life and achievements of the RCP’s first female President, Professor Dame Margaret Turner-Warwick, it has become a popular addition to the regional Update in Medicine conferences.
Many of you may remember that earlier this year Dr Kat Moss was the Mersey winner in the Royal College of Physicians Turner-Warwick lecturer scheme with her work on the Anticoagulation Standards and Guidelines which was a fabulous achievement.
For 2021, the RCP again plans to select a lecturer from the trainees in each region, these lectures will either be presented at the regional Update in Medicine conferences or on the RCP digital platforms. Closing date for applications from the Mersey region is 21st February 2021. For details of how to apply click here
