Making it easier for you to get involved….

We know that many of you are really keen to get involved with the various Guideline Development Groups but worry about being able to attend the meetings and make an active contribution to the work.

We are delighted to let you know that we think we have found a solution. Just this week Pallaborative North West has purchased Zoom.

Zoom is a cloud based service which provides simple online meetings, content sharing, and video conferencing capability. This means that we can connect people wherever you work. You can join meetings from your lap top, desk top or even your smart phoneand you can either use video or simple audio links

Zoom can host a lot of people in one meeting and there is the opportunity to share documents online in real time.

it will be free for Guideline Development Groups to use and really is very simple to operate So if you were thinking of joining a group for our 2020 programme now may be a great time to take the plunge. The topics are

Intractable Cough

Management of Ascites

Use of Syringe Pumps

Anticonvulsants in Palliative Care

Please do get in touch and we can link you up with the right people really quickly. It is a great way to develop your knowledge and skills and working with others from different teams is a great way to meet new colleagues and friends

  1. Hi im keen to get involved in anticonvulants in Palliative care, unfortunately i was unable to make the meeting due to staffing, the same as many others. Zoom seems like a really good one of including everyone.

Apologies for the very late reply to your post. We have had a problem with this facility on the website. I hope it is sorted now. have you been able to make contact with the anticonvulsant group?
Do you want me to put you in touch with them?. I am sure they would be delighted to have you on board

    Best wishes
