It is with a lot of sadness that we say goodbye to Kath Davies who has supported our work over the past three years and is well known to many of us.
Kath is the Quality Improvement Project Manager for the Cheshire and Merseyside Palliative and End of Life Care Strategic Clinical Network and has been a key contributor to our clinical audit and guideline development programme.
Kath has been the driving force behind the creation of our wonderful new website here at Pallaborative North West. As part of the team she helped us to secure NICE accreditation and has done a stirling job creating all the databases which sit unseen behind the web pages and are crucial for us to maintain that quality kite mark for our clinical guidelines.
Kath has been instrumental in helping us strengthen our Patient and Public Partnership through her work with People’s Voice. She has led our annual PPI (patient and public involvement) workshops over the past few years which have been so very helpful to each of our Guideline Development Groups.
We want to say a huge thank you Kath. We are definitely going to miss you and wish you all the best with your new projects for the Network .
